- ROUNDTABLE
- Don't forget that Roundtable will be held this Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Noblesville First United Methodist Church (2051 Monument Street). We'll be meeting in the Vine room room on the west side of the building. Our theme for this month is the Ideal Year of Scouting (including a training on how to use the planning materials found online) and a discussion about Pack Trainers (pdf).
- UPCOMING TRAININGS
- Training for Den Leaders, Cubmasters, and Committee Chairs
- The Cub training committee will be holding a special training for den leaders, cubmasters, and committee chairs this Thursday, April 17, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the same location as Roundtable (Noblesville First United Methodist Church). Space is still available for this $5 training course. You may register online.
- Den Leaders will meet in the Parlor. You can get to this room by entering the building on the east side of the building, and turning right after passing the stairs.
- Cubmasters and Committee Chairs will meet in the Young Adult room located on the north west corner of the building. Enter the westernmost door on the north side of the building and the room will be on your right
- Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation
- This training is scheduled for May 17 at Central Park in Carmel. A day of fun and learning prepares pack leaders to plan and carry out "entry-level" outdoor experiences, one that is safe and appropriate for Cub Scouts. This training is not required for all Cub Leaders, but at least one member of a Pack Committee must be BALOO trained in order for their Cub Scout Pack to be authorized to go camping. This training is not designed for Committee Chairman or Cubmasters but is instead focused on the Committee Member who will be in charge of Pack Camping. The one-day BALOO session will give your pack's outdoor activity leader the tools to conduct a safe and successful overnight. Cost is $5 per person. You may register online.
- PROGRAM
- Fast Tracks Cub Advancement Program
- Each den in your pack has a unique opportunity this next school year. The Fast Tracks program is now available to all of your dens! A case study in effect for the last three years has proven to be a successful mechanism catering to today's family dynamics, while still teaching lifelong lessons and delivering timeless values. Action BY THE PACK is required in order to participate. Learn more . . .
