Hi People,

This is another of those courtesy emails to advise of paddling opportunities on the Mersey River below Rowallan and the Forth River below Paloona.

This weekend (25th & 26th May 2013) we intend to be:

·         Running Rowallan at Full Gate (~ 24cumecs) – this is the standard release request flow on the Mersey.

·         Running Paloona on low load (~ 27cumecs) – this is the lower of the flow range we were providing for the Tas Canoe Club’s Thursday night paddles.

Note that there are no formal release requests over the weekend and so no guarantees that flows will not vary from those stated above.

Please also note that Paloona power station is going out of service from 17th June 2013 for 10+ months and we will not be able to provide controlled releases from Paloona during that outage.  Enjoy while you can!

I am happy for this email to be forwarded and for the information to be promoted on the various paddling forums – noting as always the usual caveats.  Have fun!

Regards,
