Sprint Racing

Just reminding you of the sprint races on Saturday 1 June from 12-3 pm at the Lauderdale Canal. These 200m races will be a time trial format so you can have as many runs as you like in as many different boats as you like. We have starting gates, automatic timing and electronic score board.

We will be using the new Australian Canoeing timing software and will be using the day as a training session on this system. If you run any form of kayak racing, this is the ideal learning opportunity. Phil will be running this session at 11am.

We are using this to raise money for the “Heart Kids” charity so entry is by donation and there will be food and drinks available on the day. 

You can turn up at any stage from 12 to 3 to post your fastest time but it would be great if you could spare some time to help with the timing or BBQ so that we all get a chance to paddle.

All paddling suppliers are invited so there will be demo gear to try.
