Install only command line?
|
| |
I'd like to run the command line only on a Linux server. The server
does not have xterm installed. Is there a way to install the program
without using xterm or to install just the command line tool?

Data Compare Columns
|
| |
Hi,
Is there a way to select specific columns to compare in a data
compare?
If not, is it on the road map and roughly when would it be released?
Thanks,
Matt

Data Compare Comments

Hi,
Setting the "datacomp_sync_comments" element to false in a data
compare project doesn't appear to work.

Data Compare on sybase
|
| |
When i do a Data compare on sybase, the engine appears to encapsulate
all tables and fields with '[]'.
some of the fields I have in the schema are at the maximum 28 bites in
length. When the compare adds the brackets this violates the length
restrictions and the compare failes.
Is the any way to disable this feature in Data compare?... more »

Missing msvcr71.dll
|

following missing dll: msvcr71.dll

with your application:

Schema Compare Sync script does not include owner
|
| |
I am comparing two SQL Server databases and generating a sync script
for them. Version 2 has the tables grouped in different schemas, and
version 1 does not.
When the sync script gets generated to move V1 to V2 everything looks
good, except the schema name is not used. This causes many of the... more »

Problems with schema compare option: "Compare sequence latest value"
|
| |
Hi,
I'm using DBSolo v3.7.5 and trying to perform a schema compare using
the option: "Compare sequence latest value". Whilst the visual compare
results show that sequence values are different, when I try to
generate the sync script, it does not align the sequence values
correctly. It simply drops and re-creates each sequence.... more »

Sync script does not include differences in permissions for existing tables.
|
| |
Hi,
I'm using DBSolo to schema compare two Oracle 10g databases.
However, it doesn't look as though DBSolo generate differences (in the
sync script) for permissions between tables that already exist.
For example:
DB1 and DB2 both already have a table called TABLE1. On DB2, TABLE1
has an extra insert permission granted to USER1.... more »
