First you need to add a Generic JDBC Driver under Tools/JDBC Drivers.
That driver needs to point to the z/OS JDBC driver that you should be
able to get from IBM.

Once you have added the driver, you can add a server connection and
make it use the driver you just added.

Marko

 Marko,

You mean the Generic JDBC Driver by DB2 - JDBC driver in Add server
connecition panel.
If not is this some need to be down loaded.

Thanks,

Only DB2 for LUW (Linux, Unix and Windows) is supported by the
supplied DB2 driver. To connect to z/OS please use the 'Generic JDBC
Driver' when creating a connection. Notice that you need
to download the correct JDBC drivers for z/OS.

Marko

I'd like to run the command line only on a Linux server. The server
does not have xterm installed. Is there a way to install the program
without using xterm or to install just the command line tool?

You can select/deselect the columns to be compared by
checking/unchecking the checkbox next to a column in the tree control
on the left hand side of the third page (Select Table) of the data
compare tool.

Marko

 Hi,

Is there a way to select specific columns to compare in a data
compare?
If not, is it on the road map and roughly when would it be released?

Thanks,
Matt

The problem is with the data compare, not schema compare. With
datacomp_sync_comments set to false, the following is produced:

--
-- Generated by DB Solo 3.7.4 on Thu Oct 08 10:34:46 EST 2009
-- This script will modify the SOURCE database to be in sync with the
destination database
-- Source: [DB1] [S_OWNER]
