Not to be confused with the Celtic Woman "Group" that is appearing on
US PBS TV specials, this is the 3rd in the Celtic Woman Album series
on the Hearts O' Space label.

Feature Notes: Celtic Woman 3: Another solid offering with a stellar
lineup of Celtic Woman artists, this album focusing on songs with the
common theme "Ireland."  This compilation contains tracks from well
established artists Mary Black, Maura O'Connell, Cathie Ryan, Dolores
Keane and Clannad that celtophiles may already own (see a complete
listing below), tracks from more recent albums by Emer Kenny, Eleanor
McEvoy, Anuna and Cherish The Ladies.  The real value to those (mainly
in the US) who may have some or most of these other songs are the
inclusions of tracks by Skilda, Shedoa, and Kate Power & Steve
Einhorn.

The Skilda and Shedoa tracks are from albums that would be very
difficult to find in the US (they can be found by searching on
amazon.co.uk, or at sheoda.com and skilda.com).  Shedoa's track is a
beautiful song sung by Margaret Brennan, and Skilda's track is also a
beautiful song, sung by Naia Wolf [who says her all time favorite
singer is Dolores Keane], which is not representative of the rest of
their "13 Dreams" album which is celtic rock/funk in nature!

The beautiful song by Kate Power & Steve Einhorn is from the album
"Now & Then"  which is available on Amazon US [used only], though it
does not come up in  a search for "Kate Power, " so search for "Now &
Then Power & Einhorn" to find it.

Essentially, "beuatiful song" sums up all of the offerings on the
album, you won't find any jigs and reels on this collection.  A near
perfect collection if you love the Irish Song performed by the lush
voices of the top female vocalists featured here.
