Subject: Trimming Cup Blanks

Hay Folks,

So on the way to about a hundred mugs we now have a bunch of blanks from throwing off the hump. I like to put a simple foot ring on most everything I make so here is how Dart showed us...

I can get fairly quick at centering and tacking down with clay lugs. I've tried tap centering and made it work but using the lugs makes certain I don't have a flier. Besides, I'm in no hurry and cleanup is easy since I putter around with them for a while even after putting on the handles. Stay tuned for push pulling of the handles off the rim, and stay in there eh!
