Need to identify a species of the insects known as cicadas? If BU's
Dr. Allen Sanborn isn't available, you might be out of luck.

How many of us can say we are the only person on the entire continent
– and one of the few in the world – who do what we do? Even the top
neurosurgeons or biomechanical engineers among us would have a hard
time laying claim to that distinction.
But for Dr. Allen Sanborn, a Barry University professor of Natural and
Health Sciences and an expert in identifying and classifying species
of insects known as cicadas, it's nothing out of the ordinary.
