Hi residents of Chuan Park.. It has been more than 3 years since we last attempted to get the interest revved up to sell this estate Enbloc.. Since then alot has happened . The market has corrected somewhat pretty drastically and the Psf has declined to around 800 Psf... . With the Govt signalling that it is still anticipating a further correction I am afraid that it is not good news to us the owners and residents of this condo...As you all know this estate is indeed aging and it is now more than 36 years old . With every passing year the value is bound to get eroded further.. I would like to initiate a survey to gauge the level of interest in restarting the enbloc process... Given the decline in the prices I believe the estate would now be more attractive to developers to consider coming in to create an iconic project..Please respond to this blog post with a simple Yes or No to exploring this process once again..I dont know how many of you are are still owners of your unit in this condo.. if you are no longer the owner please accept my apologies and send me a message to remove you from this group.. and if you happen to know the new owners who would like to be included in this grouping.. please let me know too..ThanksThiruEx Chairman of the previous enbloc committe.

Hi All,Further to my earlier posting, please be advised that this is just an initial interest gathering exercise.. Its way too early to be talking about price and other stuff so do not email or start any discussion on that.. We first need to get 30 % of the residents wanting to move forward with the Enbloc exercise so that we can then formally request the MC to organise an EOGM to appoint a sales committee. To do that we will need to get the signature of about 160 odd residents / owners wanting to go ahead to explore.. Then once the Committee is formed then they can go about exploring the numbers with potential marketing agents and it will take time..You can help speed up the process by talking to your neighbours and getting them to request to be added to this google group to facilitate the discussion and dissemination of info.. to date there are only about 200 residents in this group and so far only about 65 of you have expressed interest in moving fwd..My brief conversation with an estate agency leads me to believe that there is some interest picking up amongst property developers to acquire land banks and so this might be the best way to help all of us realise the full value and potential of our estate and safeguard our nest egg before it starts eroding further as the estate ages.The earlier we do it the higher the chances of a successful outcome..Do not reply to this posting unless you have not replied to my earlier request. in which case just reply with a simple Yes or No...
