Nothing comes close to ice cream and cake - except for the wonderful hobby of amateur radio and the wonderful people - especially CFO - that you meet there.

I just renewed W4SON 2 weeks ago. I don't know why FCC makes it so difficult. I may have to use W5YI next time.

You didn't renew by mail, did you? The forms are no longer meant for

I'm buying Bob / W6BNB and you both ice cream AND cake.

And I'm also having a little celebration for the new shiny badge on
W1OBJ. Old Brown Jug. Nice tune to hum while he sends nice Morse code.
Somehow that call is familiar -) - I've already forgotten his "old call"
- AB1J or AB1F or something? I'll never never never forget W1OBJ - what
music it makes!

After fifty some years with W1OBJ it was a big mistake to ever had changed

Now I'm confused. Did you go back to W1OBJ that most of us identify with,
or keep the change?

I often think that it's possible that rather than being sk's, some of the
old-timers that I used to work are still around but are using calls I don't
recognize.
