Hello All,

Do you need a fun anticipatory set for your upcoming evolution unit?
Or do you need a way to bring back the fundamentals of that DNA dogma
unit you taught last month? Join the world in celebrating Charles
Darwin's birthday! Evolutionary biologists around the world are
organizing activities centered on Darwin Day, February 12. For
teaching ideas and free materials, visit www.darwinday.org. If you're
interested in learning more about Charles Darwin and his contributions
to understanding evolution, visit www.aboutdarwin.com. For links to
other evolution websites and more information about Darwin, visit the
American Museum of Natural History at www.amnh.org/exhibitions/darwin.

If you don't have time this year, think about it for next year, or
better still, the following year. Organizers are hoping to raise
awareness of the contributions of Charles Darwin, before the 200th
anniversary of his birth on Feb. 12, 2009. May Darwin Day
celebrations unite the world!

Best,
Ryan
