Enclosed please find a pdf document having the DaNDa glyphs for 10 different
Indian scripts. For illustartion, one script, Siddham daNDas, existing
outside India
is chosen, but siddham is an Indian-derived script.

The proposed Unicode character names incorporating the corresponding

Here is the sample of Modi script daNDas.
Pre-1950 or so, Marathi, the language of
Maharashtra state (Bombay its capital)
was written in Modi script. Even now,
traditional poems of Marathi are written
by hand or in small presses in the Marathi
script. Enclosed is a Marathi verse sample.

Note that Modi script daNDas are different
from those of Devanagari.
