I should have checked on SNOPES.com.
This is NOT Sarah Palin's banned books list.
It's a list of books that HAVE BEEN banned in the US.
Not that she wouldn't if she could.

Hi,
My daughter's book assignment for January is "humorous fiction" so I
went online and typed that into our local library system. The fourth
book in the list was Gayle Brandeis' "Self Storage"! I thought this
was soooo awesome. Out of the thousands and thousands of books that
could have come up under such a general heading search like this
