In response to Matthew Wink's question, the Black-billed Cuckoo was
added to the threatened list at the May, 2009 meeting of the
Endangered Species Protection Board. The changes in listing are not
official until they go through the adminstrative code rules process.
At the same meeting, both Common Moorhen and Loggerhead shrike were
changed from threatened to endangered. I think birders should report
sightings of breeding evidence of listed species to their Natural
Heritage Biologist to be added to the database.
