I just did a quick analysis of the NZ ColdFusion sites that we have
posted here on the usergroup page on Google Groups.

newzealand.com is the largest site with 390,000 pages indexed in
Google, followed by Auckland University.

Pizzahut has only one page indexed in Google.

You can find more details on my blog:

Hi Indy,

the reason why PH has just one page is that their complete application
is based on a Flash 8 app/online shop, but the whole backend and
business logic are CFCs via Flash Remoting.

Hi Kai... Thanks for pointing that out.

I guess the bottomline as far as Pizza Hut goes (and any other site) is that they should get found on important keywords. In case of PH - pizza hut new zealand. And they show up right at the top with those keywords! So whether they have one page or hundred matters little.

It is good to know that the backend is completely CFCs.

Do you know who did the UI for the site?

Yip, has been done by my former employer, ZeroOne in Wellington.
If you're particular interested in the person who did the UI, he's
a friend of mine and I could put you in touch.

Cheers
Kai
