To see if we have a winning product on hand we use a little trick we
call the BATCH TEST TECHNIQUIE (or BATT for short) and it works like
this...
1. BUILD IT USING STOCK PARTS.
2. SELL IT TO PEOPLE YOU DO NOT KNOW (And find out if they are happy
with it)
3. THEN EVALUATE THE RESULTS
We often create small batches of products to see if they sell and then
use the sales feedback to determine IF we have a great product!
You can't argue with sales. If you have none... something is wrong.
If you have a lot then something is right! The BATT will very quickly
show you how good a product is and very quickly makes you aware of the
best selling points.
We recently did a BATT test at a tradeshow in Chicago. We had many
products and were certain which BATT products would be the winners and
why they would sell. That is until we went to the show. The least
likely product, as far as we knew, outsold ALL other BATT products
combined! Who knew? Our customers!

as many STOCK parts as available to bring the product to life. Avoiding
