Our special guest, Matthew Weier O'Phinney, will be giving a presentation on Model-View-Controller (MVC) applications with Zend Framework. Matthew Weier O'Phinney is a PHP Developer for Zend Technologies, where he is the lead developer for the MVC and server components of Zend Framework. His past experience includes two years at Vermont's own National Gardening Association, several years of freelance work, as well as a stint at Montana's Zoot Enterprises. He has presented at the BostonPHP and NYPHP user groups, as well as at each of the Zend Conferences, and is a co-author of the second edition of SitePoint's "PHP Anthology."

Other topics of the meeting include:

  • Using frameworks - which one?
  • How are you using PHP?
  • PHP tips/tricks & resources

Refreshments - coffee and snacks - will be provided, and you'll have the chance to network and connect with fellow PHP developers.
