Pack/Troop Software

When choosing whick software package to use/purchase, I think the biggest requirement would be that it be compatible with ScoutNet.
If you can "dump" your information from your chosen software to the BSA at registration time, then the rest of the decision has to do with cost, features, reports, etc.

Here's the link to a great pow wow coming up next weekend (7/11-13) in Loudonville. Scouts get a discount on admission. [link]
Gates open at 10 am daily; Grand entrance at 1 pm. Great event for Cubs, Scouts, OA dancers, etc.

Troop leaders and Scouters:

The Buckeye District Day Camp will be happening next week, from July 8-11,
2008, at Grace Brethren Church, on Worthington Galena Road. The camp will
start with an orientation/ camp set up on Monday, and scouts will start with
check in on Monday, July 7th in the afternoon.

Rope (monkey) Bridge

I am looking for a rope bridge and an adult(s) to run the station at the
Buckeye District Day camp on Friday July 11th. Setup can be done on
Thursday and the bridge will be needed from 9am - 2:00 pm on Friday. Do
you or your troop have a bridge we can borrow? Do you know someone
available on Friday to 'run' the station?

It is with deepest sympathy that we join with our entire Simon Kenton
Council Scouting Family in the sudden passing of Payden C. Sommers, 11,
of Chillicothe, Ohio on Saturday, June 21, 2008 while hiking with his
Boy Scout Troop 33 of Kingston, Ohio in the Tar Hollow State Park.

Bridge for FREE

I have a small bridge that I am looking to find a good home for. It is approximately 7 feet long, 3 feet wide and is very sturdy. It has been used for several Cub Scout "Crossover" ceremonies, 2 Girl Scout "Bridging Ceremonies", and 2 church Musicals. Our Troop no longer has space to store the bridge and I hate to throw it away if someone else could use it.
