Subject: Help Needed at Ohio State Fair
The following message is from Jen Koma, SKC Marketing Director . . .
------------------------------
We need your help!!!!

We are desperately trying to improve the Ohio State Fair booth but
this takes help from our units.  We realize that many of our units are
out at camp during the summer but we ask that those who are not gone
during the dates of the State fair, consider volunteering a couple of
hours to run activities and events at our booth.  The fair runs from
July 29-August 9th.  Units do not have to commit to that entire time
but a couple of days for a minimum of 4 hours would be great.  We are
specifically looking for volunteers to run a monkey bridge, rain
gutter regatta, run the Bounce House, etc.  The only way we can
improve our display is by offering cooler things for our Scouts to
do.

Perhaps you may also have some volunteers who are retired, have
summers off or work part-time that might be willing to come help out.
All volunteers will receive FREE passes the days they work and a
participation patch.

We greatly appreciate the help!  These next two years are very
important for our State Fair display and now is the time we really
need to let the public know we are still around!

Thanks so much!!  Let us know if you have any questions.  Interested
individuals can contact John Flaherty, Nikki Thomas, or Jen Koma and
we will get them set up.
