My favorite parts are about learning, teaching and knowledge. It is
true, that you cannot teach anyone to KNOW anything. You either do or
you don't. I think that the knowing is in the doing, just as your
value is in your deeds, not merely your words. As frustrating as it
is, you truly cannot take someone to a point of knowing; you really
can only point a direction and hope that they can welcome the
experience.

I also feel that although the phrase that many people like, (not
mentioned here, but relevant) -- "Knowledge is power", though
profound, is incomplete...

Knowledge must still be put into action to be considered "powerful" or
empowering.

Another way to look at that concept, is covered in an ancient Chinese
proverb:

"To know and to not do, is not to know."

Therefore, if you retain "knowledge" and do not put it into action,
then perhaps you don't fully understand the concepts or scope of value
in that knowledge.
