*Perilous Times

The Cross, the Crucifixion, and Eternities Cure*

By Dana G Smith
November 4, 2007

All of The world will be coming together one of these days in a gigantic
battle, one in which is the culmination of eons of ongoing wars. This
battle is known to most people as Armageddon and has been described by
prophets and sages through history. The bible has much to say on this
end time event in Revelation. The single most important decision you can
make today is finding out which side you will be standing on that day.
The choice is between two forces, the L-rd G-d and the Devil known as
“an angel of light called Lucifer”. Devils, demons, and the armies of
heaven have been engaged in this war during all of eternity. It all
started when Lucifer decided he would rise above the L-rd G-d and took
1/3 of the host of heaven against the L-rd. The rebellious ones lost
their struggle. Ever since, mutiny has been the rule of the day and the
target was always to dethrone the living G-d. The good thing for mankind
today is, the devil failed and always will fail to overthrow the MOST
HIGH G-d and our Father. The bad thing for man today is the Devil will
be using all his tools to bring the world onboard in a gigantic
revolution against the L-rd and His anointed. This is a classic struggle
of good and evil. I call this struggle the cross, the crucifixion, and
eternities cure. This struggle was also described by the Psalmist in
chapter 2. It reads:

Psalms 2:1 ¶Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel
together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them
in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore
displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 ¶I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my
Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance,
and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in
pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 ¶Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the
earth.

11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his
wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust
in him.

The enemy of our soul will have kings, captains, leaders, men, and women
of this earth gathered together against the L-rd and His anointed. The
trouble with man is a little problem of sin and rebellion. Just like the
devil, man wants things his way. He will seek more than ever in these
last days to have things his way. He will do this before the setting up
of the true Kingdom of G-d on earth. Man wants to throw off G-ds
limitations, laws, commandments, and restrictions. We call the first of
these restrictions the ‘ten commandments’. G-d has laws and commandments
which he has set in order for all mankind to follow. The natural man who
does not know this G-d will always seek to throw off these commands or
rules of the L-RD. Thus the setting for the last great battle, in which,
men will follow a leader who will have declared himself G-d. This leader
will bring in a ‘great delusion’ described in 2 Thessalonians. This
‘great delusion’ will transport all those who ‘refused the love of the
truth’ into its spell. In the end, this ‘son of perdition or
destruction’ will have brought the whole earth under his power. To
understand what the ‘love of the truth’ is you need to read the classic
verse John 3:16, which say “for God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him would not perish, but
have eternal life”. This is the ‘love of a God’ for his creation that is
so great; he gave his ‘only begotten son’ as a penalty for our sins.

Isaiah said in chapter fifty three and verse one “Who hath believed our
report and to whom is the arm of the L-RD revealed?” I believe this
verse heads up the most important 12 sentences of any chapter in the
bible. For me personally I can say to Isaiah’s questions that “I believe
the report”, and that the “arm of the L-RD is revealed to me and anyone
who would seek Him today.” This is the first step to understanding
Eternities cure for what ails man today. That is the ability to believe
that there is a G-d and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently
seek Him. It is in that seeking we find the confrontation between sinful
man and a holy G-d. This confrontation for some, leads to repentance and
a full open willingness to follow this G-d as disciple of His.
Unfortunately there are others who totally reject of all of this. It is
here in these verses Isaiah describes the coming Yeshua HaMassiach,
which is the Messiah who would suffer and die for the sins of fallen man.

It is in these verses we find the cross represented in all its weight.
It is this cross where the son of G-d was openly hung to die for our
sins that bore the weight of the law and the curse of our rebellion. It
is this hope, we have, who is the Arm of the L-rd revealed. This
Messiah, whom we call Jesus Christ, brought to us the revelation of the
Father in the form of man. Fully G-d, yet fully man, sinless, yet
bearing our sins so that we might live. The Messiah who died not just
for your sins and mine but suffering as he did to fulfill all the hope
and deliverance we needed.

He bore our Grief’s, sicknesses, and carried with him our pains. He
suffered and was stricken for our sins, being smitten and afflicted of
G-d. The tool the Father used was sinful men beating the sinless Son of
God. The Father used a cursed cross with his Son on it bearing the
weight of the worlds sins. The Messiah was pierced through for our
transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities, and chastised for our
peace. In addition he received stripes for our healing, both from sin
and sickness. Blows upon the Son of G-d finally ended. The cross was, in
the end bare of this Messiah, as he was laid in a tomb, but later
resurrected in power. He stands at the right hand of G-d the Father,
ready to come back to bring down all enemies and establish his kingdom.
The verses in Isaiah prophesied many years before came true. Isaiah
spoke that it “pleased the L-RD to bruise him” this way, speaking
further that this ‘righteous servant’ would ‘justify many, for he shall
bear their iniquities’.

Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a
root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we
shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted
with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised,
and we esteemed him not.

4 ¶Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did
esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his
own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth:
he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her
shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the
transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 ¶Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall
prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear
their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall
divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul
unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the
sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Part II

The act of putting the Messiah on the cross, the crucifixion represents
the work of a loving Father making his Son an offering for the sins and
transgressions of the world. The Son of G-d willingly submitted himself
thus putting ‘eternities cure’ into action, then bringing it to
completion. The same Father, who revealed to us his “love”, would send a
delusion upon those who “refused the love of the truth”.

Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be
thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath
counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an
unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

He gave firm commandments and expected those who loved him to do as he
said. Many speak of the Ten Commandments and the many laws Israel in the
Old Testament kept as well. It was these same commandments the Apostle
Paul spoke of keeping, yet Paul found himself still lacking what he
needed. This was salvation. One of the commandments the Father told the
world of men to heed was this one:

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance G-d winked at; but now
commandeth all men every where to repent:

Thus, eternities cure for all men would finally be completed. Yet,
before the full, final, and eternal plan to be completed, wickedness
would have to be rooted out. G-d, in his mercy now is allowing all
things to grow to harvest. Mankind will now take sides in the biggest
battle in all eternity. All the angels of G-d are lined up in the earth,
in heaven, and in the power of the air. The divine council in heaven is
in session, where the 24 elders are with the Father and bringing to
totality, G-d’s will. Men and women now will see the fruits of their
actions more than ever. They will know the term “reaping and sowing”
literally as G-d brings to man a time known as “Jacobs’s trouble”. Jesus
warned us and all men of this time coming upon the earth. It would come
as a snare upon all nations and peoples. Those who reject the Father and
His Son will face the wrath of G-d. The sides are now being drawn up. On
the one side is the ‘light bearer’, who cannot bring you salvation, but
will let you, do as you please, as long as you worship him. This evil
bearer has been given the keys to rule the world for a short season. On
the other side are those who have accepted the love of the truth, Jesus
Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach. These have been given marching orders
directly from the Father. They are here, literally for such a time as
this. There is no room for mediocre Christians in this battle. The
orders tell us to stand, having done all we can, stand therefore. We are
challenged to face the enemy, the war is coming, and our enemy will make
war with us. Many will die in this war, through what I call the
“anointing of martyr ship”. The apostle John reveals what the Son of G-d
told him these last day’s marching orders were.

We are those who keep the faith of Jesus Christ, walking in Love. Loving
the L-rd our G-d with all our hearts, mind, and soul and then loving our
neighbors as ourselves. It is keeping the commandments of G-d. Those
feasts and the Ten Commandments, willingly following what the L-rd Jesus
told us to do. We are no longer under the weight of the law, but we keep
these things as one who loves another does. We love the L-rd, therefore,
we will do as he says. Further, we are told that we may lose our lives;
therefore, we are not to love our lives more than G-d. The promise to us
is that we will overcome by the ‘blood of the Lamb’ and the ‘word of our
testimony’.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that
keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by
the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

This is war. Earth, man, and all hell have declared this will go the
full distance. They will kill, hurt, maim, and put in prison those who
are prisoners of war. They will imitate G-d, mock G-d, and become
traitors. They will do anything, anywhere, and at all costs to win. They
will hate those who follow the L-rd and keep to his ways. This is war
and you will have to decide the cost for yourself. You will have to take
sides. You will have to get off the fence. You will have to walk in
holiness, without which, no man will see the L-rd. You will have to
vacate the ‘love of the world’, not walking in ‘lusts of the flesh’, nor
wallowing in the ‘pride of life’ nor the ‘lusts of the eyes’. The
smelter is here now, the challenge lay before us, and we will have to
decide. But as for me and my house, we will serve the L-rd.

Joshua 24:15 ¶And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you
this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served
that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
