Lighting kills five at football match in Colombia*

BOGOTA, Nov 20 (AFP) Nov 20, 2006

A bolt of lightning killed five people at a football match in
northeastern Colombia and left another 28 injured, local authorities said.

The lightning struck a tent where 60 people had sought shelter from a
heavy rain during the match in Abrego in the Norte de Santander province
bordering Venezuela.

Ten of the injured were children, who were taken to hospital with first-
and second-degree burns.
