Lightning strike kills seven children in China*

LIGHTNING struck an school in southwest China killing seven children and
injuring 40 pupils and teachers, Chinese media reported today.

The accident happened during a rain storm yesterday at a village school
in Chongqing municipality, the Beijing Morning Post said.

Five of the injured were seriously ill.
