Quarter of Christians 'are victims of work bias'*

A quarter of Christians in Britain claim that they face discrimination,
according to a BBC survey.

The poll of 604 Christians for the programme Heaven and Earth found that
one in four feels discriminated against at work and one in five claims
to suffer from bias in the community.

And a third of those surveyed for the Sunday morning show complained
that media reporting was biased against their religion.

The Rev Malcolm Duncan, of campaign group Faithworks, said: "The
Christian church is suffering more than all other faiths in Britain.

"There is an aggressive secularist agenda that says it's OK to support
any group ending in 'ism', but it's not OK to support anything connected
to Christianity."

Devout Christians have long been outnumbered by non-believers in this
country.
