Lightning bolts cause heart attacks in Germany*

Spectators at an air show in Germany had to be reanimated after
lightning caused them to have heart attacks, police said, as bolts from
the blue seriously injured at least 15 in the storm-battered country.
Two people suffered heart attacks when lightning struck at Hangelar,
western Germany, where 10,000 people had gathered to watch an air show.
The life of another spectator was in danger and seven others were in a
serious condition.
Lightning also seriously injured five people sheltering under a tree in
the town of Gelsenkirchen in the same region. One was in a critical
state after the lightning induced a heart attack.
The five had been watching a football match.
Storms have been lashing most of Germany for the past week, with rain
flooding cellars and roads in the capital on Friday. The storms are
forecast to continue at least into the middle of next week.
