I'm thinking not many people in berkely on Jan 5, so maybe lets take a road trip. Maybe to SanFrancisco. I'll check on the SF-LUG list to see if anyone wants to go to the NoiseBridge location for a meeting, & I can then show th sfers about voip. NB is a hacker space.

I'll report back if anyone expresses any interest. I met the guy who created NB, an EE, at the BIL conf back in ?Janary, w/ David Fox. That guy came to my BTIP presentation, & we talked about getting NB'ers to join the btip meetings.

Interestingly, the city which the BTIP website gets the most hits from is san francisco, so someone(s) over there is interested in btip.

If you are a san fran resident, & are on this list & read this, & have been checking the btip web pages occasionally, please reply to this so i'll know who's in san fran. Also, please tell us if there might be any interest from san franers in a btip mtg Jan 5 at NB.

Thanks :)

Hello,

I'm a SF resident and recent joiner of the list.

I'm fullfilling my urge to explore and learn more at the Linux/hacking crossroads by playing at home and taking classes. I'd like to attend one of your shindigs, but am already over-extended schedule-wise...haven't even made it to a SFLUG meeting, yet :( ...and I don't know when my situation will change.

...checking in per your request...

Thanks,
Shawn

Hmm, this is interesting... I was looking for a nearby hackerspace and
this seems pretty close, only 2 blocks south of 16th/Mission BART. But
I'll be in LA at that time.

Um, but at that time you _can_ be there. . . . virtually.

LA is only (400/200k)*1000 = 2ms away. ;)
