Here is my quickie list of the major opportunities I see for myself to work on to improve BTIP this year.
I'll have more info about these individually, as time permits, in later emails pertaining to specific of these things. Feel free to comment or offer your assistance to help any of these progress. :)

The Global & local Free Software, Hardware & Culture group
Talks, Installfest, Project/Programming Party (Potluck?)
Is: Educational, Productive, Social
A primary goal: Help people (with a prominent focus on college students)
learn about, so they can they use, & might also become contributors

1) Posters - help up?
2) Class announcements - help?
writeup of announcement - put on website
3) Weekend meetings
4) Free Sw Day - is Publicity - interest?
5) Installfest - Helpers? interest?
6) Drupal announcement

Global:
1) weekday voip meetings
2) americas announcements
3) other member country lug announcements.
4) Get other topic groups having simultaneous meetings:
ex: OLPC
5) Videos
6) Server
- VOIP
get FreeSwitch installed for conferencing
mgr account policy statement on website
- Mailing list
Get our own server running, so google doesn't owns repost reprints
- Web
Google Groups is fine for now - not a high priority to have our own managed server
