In just 12 days we will bring the joy of brewing to citizens of Bellingham/Whatcom County and beyond at the Bellingham St. Patrick's Day Parade. It will be a blast again this year and I hope everyone who is available will join us outside Everybody's Store wearing their favorite holiday get-up featuring whatever BHG gear you've got while we follow the 1/2 mile route through downtown. This year Jody is bringing a large trailer and we need a few volunteers who would be willing to set up their brewing towers on the trailer. Respond in this thread and we'll coordinate with Jody the set-up process. I'll also need a decoration crew to arrive 45+ minutes before the parade to adorn towers with BHG magnets, streamers and whatever other decorations we come up with.

The parade begins at noon, but we'll begin setting up an hour or so prior (depending mostly on Jody and those bringing their towers).
You can follow additional parade announcements on Facebook www.facebook.com/stpatsbham

Sounds great.  I can bring my electric system for the trailer.

Do we want the Jockey Box for the parade?

That's a good idea. I'm not sure who has it at the moment. To be clear, though, we can't use it during the parade. But, if someone has a post-route venue in mind I am thoroughly open to suggestion.

It's at my house right now. I just figured it would look good sitting at the back of the trailer with out logo facing out.

Ian and I had talked at the last meeting about setting up in his driveway (very close to the start of the parade.)  I was thinking that I could bring the trailer to Ian's on Friday, and park it.  Then we can start to put the brewing stands etc on the trailer earlier.  Leaves more time for decorations....  Ian chime in if you are still down with this idea.  The trailer is about 16ft long, so there is plenty of room for brew stands.  The Ferndale West Side rig will be available for the ride along.

Jody is bringing the trailer to my house today prior to the meeting. If you'd like to have your system on display (I know I do!) you can drop it off Friday afternoon/evening at my house (2223 Dean Ave, one block off Cornwall). If you can't drop it off then you can bring it to the parade lineup on Saturday. Be forewarned, the lineup will be kinda hectic.
