Hello
As a Barbadian I would like to see a couple of changes in the
land of my birth. I do not know if this one would require any
legislation to be passed but I'll state it here.
I believe it is time that an administration says - enough is
enough. We have plenty hotels(budget, upscale and more),
golf courses, you name it - we probably have it. Isn't it about
time to stop stressing this two by four and maximize the tourism
product instead of placing more burden on this island Barbados?
Building more and more is not the answer in my honest opinion.

On another note. This is the 21st century and I am looking forward
to the day when some outdated legal practices are changed. When
shall I get the opportunity to applaud because it is no longer a
requirement for a wife to provide a letter from her husband for
certain income tax purposes? Is it all 'lip service' and are women
still seen as 'chattel' by men? Slavery dun a long long time - let us
get it right. We have lots of educated women in Barbados and plenty
with more common sense than some.
Food for gender affairs; it shall soon be International Day of Women and
there is more talk than action to this day.
Have a good day.
