Ruined breakfast

I understand that in US must be night or something, but you can't ruin
my breakfast every time for this so-called "maintenance"! What am I
supposed to do while eating my stereotypical European croissant*?
Reading newsapapers?

*Actually, I'm having oatmeal for breakfast.

8^( there! now you've put ME off of my "lobster thermidor" and I won't
be able to enjoy the 'caviar' nor drink "Champagne" and truly
appreciate any of this to their fullest! happier then?
