Hi all,
As I announced last Monday at the meeting. I'm putting together another Free Hugs campaign. This is something that I want to start doing a continuing series of. I have video of one that myself, Pam Ingalls, Larry Soileau, and a few others did in 2010.
Those who left me their contact info, I should be in contact this week. If, I haven't contacted you by Wed, sent me a follow-up.
It seems like acts of violence and hatred constantly fill the news. Such acts often leave indelible marks on our collective psyche. But, so can acts of kindness. And there's no more basic, no more simple an act of kindness than a hug. We're all in this together, folks. Take a stand for good... give someone a hug. That is what Free Hugs campaigns are all about and something I strongly believe in.

We'll met at the Capitol steps and go down Congress. Depending on response and time, we may hit 6th street as well.
What I'll need.
Cameramen: I have my XL-2. I need one or two more people who have video cameras (standard Def is fine).
Stills Photographers: I'd really like a mix of footage and stills.
Sign Makers: We need some big "Free Hugs" signs. Nice and bright with big easy-to-read letters.
Huggers: Men and women. Often, the huggers have a fantastic time.
Editor: or two. I have an mp3 of the Sick Puppies song "All The Same" I have a few external storage devices that I will be putting the raw footage on. I'll be doing several edits but would be happy to have others edit as well.
