-----------------------ISLAM VICTORIOUS------------------------

NEWS UPDATE.

It was reported yesterday that Bishop Ali's position had become
untenable and his comments untimely. He has had to step down.
So much for freedom of speech. Another triumph for Islam and
their slow, but determind strategy to destroy British democracy!

This follows the post "Now Hear This!" When Bishop Ali expressed
his concerns of no-go arears for non-Muslims.

Anyone DARE to comment?

Lawrey.

Aah, it's OK.

I'm getting used to those fanatics after they threatened to send
suicide bombers to Norway because they felt utterly insulted by some
muhammed cartoons....

Here are the pictures that were first published in the Danish
newspaper Jyllandsposten and then in the Norwegian newspaper
Magazinet:

http://www.danishmuhammedcartoons.com/Cartoons.html

How anyone can be so offended by this that they kill people, riot in
millions and millions and burn embassies is so totaly insane that one
can wonder how (or if)those people will ever be able to have a
rational, peaceful relationship with the non-muslim world...

ZonkTheBear,

As you say it takes a special kind of fanatic to get so easily
offended, but then I am of the opinion that they are looking
for anything to take offence at.
You are right they do not want to assimilate into the real world
they won't their own world run their way, dictated by them.
Thanks for the cartoons, its the first time I've seen them all
together.
Take Care!

I think Jihadis should realize that the Qu'ran is simply the rantings
of a violent man who established the cult of Islam, which has now
grown like a malignant cancer.

I'd like my two fatwahs now. And a large falafel sandwich with potato
crisps, and a pint of cold Hefeweizen.

I quite agree. They just want to find something to let out their built-
up hatred and to compete in who are the holier ones. It it sure looks
like the "plays" displayed by the ravaging masses were a contest where
the different muslim nations/societies competed about who were most
offended by the drawings.

Fortunately, the muslims I happen to know (quite a few, actually) are
in no way like these maniacs but it shows how religious dogma and
indoctrination can ruin whole nations, particularly where the teaching
of reasoning and sceptical thinking is considered blasfemic...

Have a nice day!

It's a very sad state of affairs when the above statement could be so
true and when people who live in a democracy can't feel free to speak
their minds because of terrorist threats.

Very courageous of you ZTB. This is the first time I've had the

Outrageous that something as innocuous as this could be the cause of
death threats.

Thanks for posting all the cartoons! I have yet to see all of them

As long as they hang onto their religion, they won't be able to be
members of a rational, peaceful world.

They are just looking for a reason to be offended so they can
rationalize the killing of more people.

Talk about walking around "with a chip on your shoulder!"

Exactly!

The most scary point, though, is that two danish mullahs went on a
tour to several muslim countries, bringing pictures they claimed to be
from these cartoons, but of which there were three more pictures that
actually had nothing to do with it but which they used to incite
uproar. One of the pictures showed a man wearing a pig's snout
participating in a French pig-squealing contest but the mullas claimed
it was a man mocking mohammed. The picture can be seen here:

http://www.neandernews.com/?p=54%20.

The whole background can be seen here (scroll a little down to find
it)

http://www.declarepeace.org.uk/captain/murder_inc/site/looneytoons.html

clearly showing that what they _really_ want is to incite an uproar!

The last link also have several other wonderful examples og islam's
peaceful attitude of which I think the best is protesters carrying a
banner saying:

"BEHEAD THOSE WHO SAY ISLAM IS VIOLENT"

So much for consistency...

Take care and look out for the boogey man...

And let's not forget the rather new "teddy bear" case in Sudan.

As a side note, it's not the nature of the cartoons that is wrong from
the Islamic point of view, but the fact that Muhammad appears in a
picture. By their interpretation of the 10 commandments, it is
forbidden.

Hmmm...

After having read a bit more on the second site I provided, it looks
like this could be a right-wing web-page... I just want to make it
clear for the record that the web-page has nothing whatsoever to do
with my political beliefs even though I refereced it to show the
appended three pictures.

I feel I have to do this clarification since some members (theists) of
this forum tend to (intentionally) misinterpret my posts:

Cato kept whining about my "appeals to nazi apologists" and Keith just
asked me (in an almost sublte way) if I am a neo-nazi...

Yup...

But the problem is that they contradict themselves: Not all
muslims find pictures of mohammad insulting.

I found this link to be very informative:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyllands-Posten_Muhammad_cartoons_contro...

It may show a more balanced view of the issue than my last reference.

Please note chapters "2.5 Danish Imams tour the Middle East" and "3.2
Muslim tradition". These show that different muslims interpret the
q'uran differently and then we are back to the sugared porridge
problem again...

Trance,

Tahnks.

Unfortunately, the problem is one of religion's making and it
is perhaps not fair to single out any one religion. It's always a
question of looking at the root cause and in this case, going
back to say 580-632 if christianity had not been so dominant
Mohammed may not have felt the need to oppose with his
own brand of religion. And if chritianity had not set the
example for him to copy, he may not have resorted to
violence as a means to power. At the end of the day it is
fear that drives religion one way or another, even super
powers sit up and take notice when their citizens are being
killed and their major cities bombed, and for the religionists
themselves fear of missing out on a possible promise of
a paradise hereafter and their belief in that and their faith
in that blief and their faith in that faith. It's all in the mind.

---------------------FURTHER UPDATE-----------------------

It has since been revealed that Bishop Ali has had the backing of
other christian church leaders:

Other Church of England bishops have rallied behind Bishop
Nazir-Ali, however, including the Bishop of Burnley, the
Rt Rev John Goddard, whose diocese is home to a large
Muslim population.

It appears the Bishop Ali is on tour in India and the frantic call
for his resignation was misinterpred. But the clamour for his
and now the Bishop of Burnley to resign reaches fevour pitch from
Muslim communities.

Jackson as promised: go to Google and type in:
Bishop Ali Resigns. there you will receive all the latest updates.
Be glad if you could come back with anything interesting as I am
pushed for time right now. Thanks.

Trance,

Recalling your comments on multiculturalism and how they
can backfire. Read This:

Muslim Organizations Call For The Resignation of Bishop
Ali-Nazr After His Remarks on Muslim No-Go Areas

Comments made by Britain's Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali,
the Bishop of Rochester, about the existance of Muslim
areas in Britain that are no-go areas have set off a
firestorm in Britain. At least one prominent Muslim leader,
Manzoor Moghal, chairman of the Muslim Forum in Britain,
has confirmed the Bishops assertions. Writing in the Daily
Mail, Moghal expressed his horror at the rise of radical
Islam in Britain's Muslim population, and, in a stinging
indictment, expressed his judgment that the U.K.
socialist's policy of "multiculturalism has backfired
spectacularly." Their beliefs would seem supported by a
recent article in the Times, discussing how
multiculturalist policies have fanned the flames of
radicalism in Britain to the point where the majority strain
of Deobandi Islam now present in Britain is more radical
and militant than that to be found in Pakistan where it
forms the core of the Taliban ideology. Just as a reminder
of what that means, the Taliban are the fellows in the
picture at the left, executing a burkah clad mother in
Kabul's soccer stadium a few years ago.
Obviously I have not included the picture.

That's really insane. I had no idea. Some people will go to any

Did you hear about the guy that filmed Submission? He was killed by

Why? Because he produced a film criticizing Islams' attitude to women!

I saw one of a woman carrying a sign which read, 'God bless Hitler.'
This was in protest to the cartoons.

There's a great film about the whole thing called 'Bloody Cartoons.'

Yes, it's actually quite scary to see what the real agenda is.

I have seen the film "Submission" and even though it is critical to
islam, killing the filmmaker is so friggin' perverted that it makes me
