fields and every one of them had very high IQ. and we all have watch
and study history on some and never knew of what they believed in or I
will speak for myself....and it is powerful....I won't say when you

a a group Vs to different beliefs ...all they lack was to invite Jesus

hm, no offence but the way you described atheism is slightly off the
hook. i can see in your words a description of the punk movement in
the UK in the 60ties.' theo' is divinity, hence the definition of
theist means someone who follows mainstream divinity (mainstream
divinity might be this or that- Zeus and his mates, Vishnu and his
reincarnations, Amun Raa, Manitu,...), the prefix 'a' in a-theist
means the opposite of the current or contemporary or prevailing
mainstream religious system. opposition need not be controversial in
the sense of public opposition, it might be cherishing something else,
and that is a value too. if i believe in 10 commandments, that doesnt
make me a Christian. If I return to your shocked reaction,
Christianity is a repression institution, in my view, as the
preachings COMMAND people what to do, how to live. Atheism or

against divinity but a proclamation of non-acceptance of the
religion's commands. also, atheists should be viewed differently now

atheists in the end it is true that it is heavens loss of such great
minds and skillfullness....No murders and criminals and such forth
will not be there either.....I am still in shock that..if they don't
believe in Jesus..or did'nt it is hard for me to believe that they
were atheists ..inventing the light bulb, DNA, ...they would have to
look at me face to face and say I don't believe in Jesus.

sorry, someone's taking the shingle down, the one that says "atheism
is the lack of belief in a God or Gods." That's it. Use it as a
mantra until it sets in. Just because you pursued hedonism when you
previously an atheist does not mean that this is how all atheists
live.

As for your testimony of having once been an atheist, you weren't a
very good atheist, were you. I mean, you didn't believe in a God or
Gods so much that you "placed your life in the Creators hands."
That's hardly being true to your claimed prior philosophy ... sort of
gives the heads up about any claim you might make about your claims as
to the validity of your current position.

I sensed there was something WRONG about this IbeDavid character so I
had a bit of a look see. I went to the profile of IbedAvid and
scanned a few of his recent posts. He has a throbbing guilt complex
due to having encouraged at least one exe to have an abortion (he did
