I'm not an aspie. But my 16 y/o son is bipolar as well as an aspie. As
most of us know it can be a struggle to get the school system to work with
our kids because they're not "Learning Disabled". So he no longer attends
high school. I have him enrolled in a high school degree program at our
local community college. I chose this because he will also be needing to
socialize with other people and give him a sense of independence. I'm
hoping it works. Because I'm at the end of my rope.
