LIVE MUSIC PROVIDED BY:
Green Mountain Energy

We are proud to have Green Mountain Energy as our music sponsor at Yale Street Arts Market. Each month Green Mountain Energy representatives are on hand to tell you all about how they do their part to make cleaner electricity.

This month Green Mountain Energy presents:

Carrie Ann & The Apocalyptics will perform their eclectic blend of country, folk and Celtic rhythms. Carrie Ann's style reflects her varied influences ... growing up in the mid-West, learning to play music in church, being married to Houston's own roots rocker Opie Hendrix and being a mother. Its hard to pin a style on this group or Buchanans writing, but eclectic and truthful come to mind. Market favorite Duke Jones will be on hand to pluck out acoustic blues favorites too. When the musicians are on break having a look at the art, KHJZ The Wave is on hand to fill the air with their smooth jazz. Green Mountain Energy is the official music host at Yale Street Arts Market

Every Month on 1st Saturday!

Greetings!

It is really exciting to have the market open again in the evenings.  Look up some of our fine restaurants in the area and visit us before or after.  I can tell you my favorites: Vietnam Restaurant- right across the street!  Then in order going east on 19th St we have Colina's, Thai Spice, Shade (w/bar) and on Studewood is the much talked about Glass Wall.
Of course the hospitality of our artists is well known! And we do have Coury's  Ice Cream Treats to satisfy your cravings at the market.  Larry and Sheila serve hot treats too.
A special note, this Thursday night the 31st, our very own Erica DelGardo and her husband Chris are opening their own store!  Erica DelGardo Jewelry Design.  Woo Hoo!  Located at 365 W. 19th next to Venus Hair and Carter & Cooley Deli.  That night there is also a big 19th Street event sponsored by the retailers Houston Mag and Lexus.  Come out and play with us!
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday (NIGHT), and remember, forwarding this email to all your friends and family will bring you health, wealth and happiness!  Talk about cool!

Cheers!  -Mitch
