I just learned something exciting!

I am in a highland pipe and drum band, as you may know - I'm still in
my first full year. Sometimes we get requests for solo pipers and
drummers through our website, and an email goes out, first-come-first-
serve. One such went out last week. I did not respond but it triggered
something in me. These gigs can be very worthwhile to the musician(s).
So at an extra rehearsal Tuesday for the competition group, I asked
the pipe major if I was qualified to put in for these gigs. She said
YES! So here is the potential for my art, which I have worked hard at,
to pay off. Happy, happy, happy! Now to get my crewel embroidery to
come in line with this...

I am so glad Papa gave me art that we can see, hear and touch! (I
suppose you can add in cooking, too and get the other 2 senses: taste
and smell, lol...)

Keep at it - let your light shine! Blow your horn - it's not yours,
it's HIS horn, so don't worry about pride. Wear HIS pride.
