Greetings from Gretchen
I am excited to offer a very special art camp during spring break 2008. Please help me by sharing this information with others.
Artists Susan Edwards and Gretchen Smith invite students ages 7+ to participate in the Spring Break Art Camp to be held from 1-4pm April 7-11. The camp is hosted by Wild Hair Studios located at 201 Broadway. Students will participate in a super fun hands-on art activity in the classroom led by Gretchen Smith or one of her apprentices. Next they will then enjoy a snack & drink before they embark on a field trip to a local museum or gallery. Wildhair Studios will have 1 staff or volunteer per every 5 students. Space limited sign up soon! $100 for the week or $25 day fee includes all supplies & museum fees. Schedule is as follows:
Mon-Clay & Quilt Museum;
Tue-Painting & Yeiser;
Wed-Drawing & River Heritage Museum;
Thu-Printmaking & William Clark Market House Museum;
Fri-Student choice & Lowertown Gallery Hop!
Parents are welcome to participate at no extra charge. Space is limited to 20 students so register early. To register call 270-444-6115 or visit www.wildhairstudios.com.
