I am thankful that this little forum is coming back to life. I pray
that it will be a true meeting place for Papa's children as it has
been in the past, who see His hand in the arts, hear His voice in
music, and know that they are vessels filled with Him, spilling out
wherever they go in the darkness. This is a place of uplifting Him and
encouraging one another. When the forum moved from its original
format, we lost a lot of people and it has taken some time to recover.
And what I have seen recently is refreshing! Ramone, Spirit Dove,
Jenny... and others to come. We need to pray for each other. We all
get to those places Ramone described in his picture of the waves
crashing all around. And so we need to be reminded who we are and
Whose we are, and all that means.

I realize that not everyone who comes here to see what's going on is
from the United States, but many are. It was at the Draw Near forum
that I met several other people who have become dear to me. One is in
Wasilla Alaska, and helped her friend campaign for the office of
Governor of that state. That friend of hers is now chosen to run as
Vice President of the United States. And another started a blog of
encouraging and speaking into Sarah Palin's candidacy. I treasure
these friendships. They came at a time when I was just awakening into
the prophetic walk, and they have opened my eyes. (The Sarah Palin
blog is at http://www.blessingsarahpalin.blogspot.com/)

So yes. I believe the work of this little forum is not done - in fact,
it has only just begun. I believe there are more "out there" who need
an encouraging word, and God will direct them here. So I write of my
journey - seemingly mundane, yet filled with treasures buried on top
of the ground. And I check in every day to see what treasures others
have found buried right in front of them in plain sight.

God bless you especially today! Numbers 6:24-26:

24 " ' "The LORD bless you
and keep you;

25 the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;

26 the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace."
