Happy Greyhound Day! No, it's not an official holiday, but it should
be!
HELP FROM PETCO!
Not much news this week but what little there is is VERY GOOD! AGA is
the recipient of a $2000 check from Petco to assist with the medical
expenses incurred when Smoke broke his leg. Rachael Barden was the
one who completed the paperwork requesting monies to help with the
expenses incurred, and evidently she did a VERY GOOD job! Thanks,
Rachael. Thanks, Petco!
APPLICATIONS
AGA currently has three applications pending, and we're busy trying to
match the perfect dog to the families that want to adopt.
M&G SCHEDULE
The next M&G is scheduled at Petsense in the Round Rock Outlet Mall on
Sunday, April 27, 1:00-3:00 pm. We need your help. The crowds are
large and the questions many.
DUES
Don't forget to drop your $25.00 check payable to AGA in the mail
should you want to continue to support our efforts to adopt retired
racing greyhounds. Those families who have adopted a dog since April
1, 2007 or who are acting as foster parents are exempt. Your support
is appreciated and valued.
FUND RAISING OPPORTUNITY
Watch for details about how you can purchase a greyhound tshirt and
help AGA during the month of May. Details to follow.
