Subject: Congratulations California! SB 250/The Pet Responsibility Act
PASSES  Senate, now moves to the Assembly

June 2, 2009

SB 250, The Pet Responsibility Act, "is a common sense, fiscally responsible
method for reducing California's tragic, expensive pet overpopulation
crisis."

The legislative campaign organized by Social Compassion in Legislation
(SCIL) and its website:
http://www.yesonsb250.com/sb250-home.php
should be considered a model for such efforts that need to follow in every
State!

SB 250 and how you can help.

My fellow WAD Ambassadors join me in saluting you California for your
efforts on behalf of the innocent creatures who can never speak for
themselves. We invite everyone to join the effort to celebrate animals
around the world, World Animal Day, October 4:

Best regards,
