Hi,
I loaded a few different images to my Android Dev Phone 1. Now it's
displaying 'T Mobile G1' splash screen. Also I cannot use my phone as
it couldn't login to my google account. (I cannot change APN or wifi
setting before I finish the setup wizard)

I have built the android sources (1.6) in generic mode. How do I flash
to the ADP1?
I have seen the instructions on the dev site.
I obtain the following in my out directory
system.img
ramdisk.img
userdata.img

If boot.img contains the boot header, where is the actual boot loader
itself located?
What is the difference between the boot header and the boot loader?

Is there a reason the ADP3's bootloader is locked?

What is the actual official purpose of ADPs? Does that purpose include
allowing the re-flashing of an ADP for development purposes?
If so then is there a reason the bootloader on the ADP3 is locked,
shouldn't it be unlocked?
Or is there a method of reflashing where the bootloader doesn't have

Don't understand the situation regarding 2.2 and ADP2

I see a few people on here asking on if its possible to flash an ADP2
with 2.2, and the replies saying its not available.
What is "it"? A 2.2 image?
But isn't a purpose of the developer phones that developers can create
and install their own images onto them? (otherwise what advantage does
and ADP give over another phone?).... more »

Well, Tmobile is stopping with the G1, so I guess us ADP1 owners can
kiss any further support goodbye.
Wish they'd do a trade-in rebate or something so I could upgrade to
something faster with more internal memory...

I am with you. i would like to update above to 2.2 but i understand there is no way to update via google. there are other ways with people who have adapted the code on the htc developers site.... Vinny
