After I restored Altapoint from backup while installing a new hard drive, I get an error message when I try to add or edit items in the billing codes. Altapoint: "Table 1: Field "ORD_FORM" not found". CAn anyone help on resolving this? The billing code numbers and names show up OK, but the cost figures, etc cannot be accessed/changed. Thanks, Ron
have you checked the current version of your Altapoint after
restoring.
My guess is, when you installed a new hard drive, you used your
original copy of Altapoint. But your back-up copy came from an MORE
Updated version of Altapoint.
If this is the case, I suggest that before you further use your
current data, complete the updates and some updates will require
REBUILD DATA. then it might solve your problem

You are right. When I open AP now, I get a message that says I am using an
older version, but so far I have just opted to continue with current state.
Do I get the updated version from AP via web? (I am using version 6.0).
To do the rebuild, do I need to reinstall AP, then import updated version,
then read the latest data backup? Thanks for your help. Ron

Actually, at this point you can just download the latest update for
your version and do the update. BUT before you do the update, make a
back up of your current data. It will warn you when you open AP if it
would need to do a rebuild after installation.
Unfortunately, I dont think altapoint is still supporting your
version. Below is a link to the updates, and I dont see anymore
updates for version 6. Maybe you can ask around whoever has a copy of
the latest update for your version

I emailed Altapoint about update but no answer so far. Do you have any
ideas about
where else I might get it?
Also, I do have a saved version of the updated version 6 that I had
saved as a backup.
Is there any way I can extract the updates from my saved updated version?
Are there
specific files that contain the updates? Many thanks, Ron
