Hi Jake,

 

this property is now leased to CVS ... 50% of the property that is.  To my knowledge they are still looking for tenants for other half.  They are currently working on landscape schematics and it will be totally rehabbed ...

 

prior to Comp USA ... it used to be a supermarket .. the A & P supermarket.

Prior to being CompUSA it was an electronics/appliance store called
"Highland". It was at that site for roughly 8-10 years (mid 80's to
early 90's). It carried name brand electronics/appliances and was not
a bad store as far as brand selection. I bought several electronic
components there which at the time were at competitive prices compared
to other chains who sold electronics. Prior to "Highland" the lot and
building sat vacant for a couple of years after the A&P closed in the
early 80's.

Does anyone have pictures of how the site used to look when it was A&P
and Highland. I am always curious to see old Brighton town
pictures.

One more store to add to the location was a medical supply store that
only lasted about a year, before CompUsa.
