Here's a neat Windows screensaver.

It gives you the BSOD and even simulates a re-start.

Bluescreen cycles between different Blue Screens and simulated boots every 15 seconds or so. Virtually all the information shown on Bluescreen's BSOD and system start screen is obtained from your system configuration - its accuracy will fool even advanced NT developers. For example, the NT build number, processor revision, loaded drivers and addresses, disk drive characteristics, and memory size are all taken from the system Bluescreen is running on.

Ever since having some computer problems at work I've been using this
screen saver. It's very authentic looking - to the point where a
passing IT guy hard-cycled my machine!

Thankfully I had everything saved, and we both got a laugh out of it
later.

Er, I sent that from the wrong email.

Heh.
Yeah, McAfee actually has that flagged on its listing of malware.
When I put my corporate-customized antivirus on my home PC, the program delete my copy of the BSOD screensaver.

I can tell you that BSOD certainly runs under Windows 2000 in VMWare...

Oh, I'm sure it runs in Windows 2000 too. Wouldn't run on this PC
unless in virtual. Only have 3 PC with Windows product installed.
Surely not this one that I'm using now. :))
