I switched from Roadrunner, to SBC some time ago. Now that AT&T  has taken over. They recently had to muddy up the e-mail with ads. Looking more like AOL, but will give you a better price. The ads don't take up as much space as AOL, but AT&T does one better, with the flash media type ad, I find most irritating. Only if Roadrunner would lower there rate, without messing up the content.

Do you get those ads too?  When the ‘upgrade’ notice read “custom content just for you” I thought it was a special offer just for me. Guess I can stop reading them now…

Firefox with the AdBlock plugin should take care of most if not all of it.

Outgoing mail not scanned because I'd lie about it if I
was a virus sending this anyway.

Just switch to Gmail and you wont get all the pop-ups and flashy adds.
I tried yahoo and is was too  much in your face adds.
I have been using Gmail and its not "in your face" adds and works well.

Seems, I heard something about a gift card offer with AT&T dsl. It was on the radio a day or two ago. Doesn't hurt to ask.
