Logbook Years

There are many ways to do this, the simplest would be Click Sreadsheet,
click the upper left box to highlight all records and press the Del
Key. This would purge all records from your existing flight hours. This
of course should only be done if you have a copy of the log70dt.mdb
file backed up on disk.

Multiple Computers

You either have to have the same version of Access installed on both
computers or have Access 97 installed and the Runtime for the computer
without Access. These two versions use the same data file, but the 2000
and up versions do not.
As far a transfering files, verion 7 has a quick backup and restore

There is no difference between the 3
versions that are available for download.
Access must be installed for each of the versions
except the runtime.
alog7_2k.exe requires Access 2000, 2002, 2003,or XP
alog7_97.exe requires Access 97
alog7_ru.exe is for system that do not have a version
of MS Access installed.

I think we all have the fear of losing our logbook, you have my
sympathy.
I designed the Mulitple Flight view of the logbook specifically for
this.
(Select this from Flights on the menu bar)
When you pull this page up, you are looking at a view of all
data fields on the main page of the logbook.

PATCH FOR VERSION 7 INSTALLS PRIOR TO 01/06/2005

Please note this is only if you installed Version 7 prior to 01/06/2005
and does not apply to Version 6.x users.
I found a couple of issues I wanted to take care of after the release.
By going to the website, downloading and installing the patch you will
be current. Look for the Patch section at the bottom of the download

Thanks for the heads up on the upgrade. I have the stand-alone v61 and
would like the upgraded version. I have to admit that I haven't used
the program for sometime (building RV-7a and not flying for a while)
and I seem to have lost the *exe file as I cannot get this program to
run.
If the v7 is a complete installation, then perhaps that will work ok.
