Subject: Runtime Version
Question:

Thanks for the heads up on the upgrade.  I have the stand-alone v61 and
would like the upgraded version.  I have to admit that I haven't used
the program for sometime (building RV-7a and not flying for a while)
and I seem to have lost the *exe file as I cannot get this program to
run.

If the v7 is a complete installation, then perhaps that will work ok.

Thanks again.

Response:

I am almost finished with the runtime version. I hope to have it on
the website today. When you say you can't get the program to run, what
happens?

Did you enter much in the older version. You can look in the old folder
to see if there is a log61dt.mdb, this is the old data file and if you
have any hours in this, they should be able to be imported into this
version.

The preferable installation procedures (assuming you have data in the
old):

1) Find the old log61dt.mdb and copy to a folder such as c:\temp

2) Go to setting > control panel > Add and Remove programs

3) Remove airlog61

4) Install the new runtime version (this will install to a folder
airlog7

5) Run airlog plus and click tools > Utility Menu

6) Click Upgrade

7) Specify c:\temp as the path and log61dt.mdb as the old file.

8) Follow the prompts
Let me know how it goes or if you have any other questions.

Stan
