You either have to have the same version of Access installed on both
computers or have Access 97 installed and the Runtime for the computer
without Access. These two versions use the same data file, but the 2000
and up versions do not.

As far a transfering files, verion 7 has a quick backup and restore
function that can be accessed off of the Tools menu.  Be sure to set
the backup path on the Defaults screen prior to backing up.  This could
be set to the A: drive or a USB key drive.

The application is separate from the data so you would not have to move
it.
