There is a new website by the Alumni Awards Foundation that has a
particular podcast "NEW!!! Episode 2: Enrollment" that is in my
opinion absolutely on track. This podcast has captured the same
conclusions about the success of K-12 campuses that I have seen after
four years of looking at the "business model" of our declining
educational institutes. It is a wonderful presentation. Please take
the time to listen to it.

Adventist education can and will succeed if we begin to truly
understand the uniqueness of our institutional model which is not an
institution at all but is an association of individual school campuses
with similar names - Adventist. This "model" requires stronger
principle leadership, smaller (and more professional) school boards
and shared resources before we price our children out of the market of
Christian education in the North America.
Fresno Adventist Academy is still continuing an eleven year financial
and enrollment decline. The board has just mandated that the
principle reduce the monthly cost of operation by $15,000 per month.
The principle is at a loss about what to do.

For any institution or organization to be important to it's audience,
it most become relevant to that community.
