One of my  best crosses has been ‘Small Red Plum’ x ‘Red Sinfonia’.  It must have been beginners’ luck, as I have not been able to get the cross to take again.  So I thought if I purchased some seeds of this from Mr. Ko then perhaps I might get a more fertile ‘Red Sinfonia’.  ‘Red Sinfonia’ is not an easy grower for me and neither were the seedlings, so I cut the tops of them and micro grafted them all.  They have just about all flowered by now, the grafts, the seedlings are still way too small.  They have all been interesting, one a lovely small orange  but alas not a one similar to ‘Red Sinfonia’.  This is the latest one to flower, rather atypically but non the less attractive.  I took this photo just as the sun was rising behind the flower.
